Service Description

"Give your body time to develop deep fitness changes. " - Mark Allen, 7-time Ironman World Champion Improving fitness each year is like building a structure made of blocks. Every year you want to increase the height of the structure, which means widening the base. In Phase I of Progressive Cycling®, cyclists will do 8-weeks of long steady distance training, gradually increasing training stress to prepare the body for the improvements to come. Long steady distance training has several effects. At a moderate heart rate, the body will use stored fat (vs. carbohydrate) as a primary fuel source. As we train aerobically, our bodies will increase mitochondrial density, allowing more blood flow to the muscles. This phase includes an initial threshold test to determine FTP. $175 for Team Pegasus Members

Cancellation Policy

The Wheelhouse only charges for what you use - no ongoing or hidden fees. When you purchase a Phase of Progressive Cycling®, you are reserving your spot in that cycling class for the duration of the session. The same is true for yoga or strength classes. Purchases do not carry over to different Phases. If you are unable to attend a class for which you are scheduled we will do our best to get you into a different class during the same week IF THERE IS SPACE AVAILABLE. Please give us as much notice as possible if you must cancel. For events outside of The Wheelhouse, cancellation policies will vary, but barring unforeseen situations, if we ever have to cancel (not postpone or reschedule) something you have paid for, we will issue a refund. There is generally no refund if you cancel. If a class is not sold out, we will allow drop-ins on a first come, first served basis. Drop in classes are sold separately. We will do our best to avoid closing the Wheelhouse or canceling class for any reason. In fact, we will stay overnight during bad storms to be sure we can be there for you the next day. However, there are times when we must cancel: particularly when the Governor has called a state of emergency. In the event that we have to cancel class due to inclement weather, we will post a notice and/or try to reach you in person. We will due our best to get you into another class the same week if there is an available slot. However, because of space and scheduling conflicts, any classes cancelled due to inclement weather will not be rescheduled.
